South County exists to bring Freedom to our City! 

We envision ourself as a "City on a Hill" - A community of believers from many backgrounds and locations who CARE!

You are the light of the world - like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Matthew 5:14-16

Connect People with Jesus

Our strategy is to create excellent Weekend Experiences for Adults & Children where the environment is rich with the presence of God

  • Cutting edge worship that draws people to engage Jesus
  • Sermon Series that promote personal growth in God and His word

Grow Together in Small Groups - Care Groups

Our strategy is to have Care groups throughout the subdivisions of the South County Region - CARE Groups stand for: Connection, Accountability, Recreation and Engagement

  • Our curriculum fosters growth in Faith, Family, Finances and Fitness
  • Ministry based care groups - Worship, Youth, Young Adults
  • Affinity based care groups - Running, Motorcycles

Our goal is to have 75% of our regular attenders engaged in Care Groups


Serve our Community and World

Our local strategy is to be intentional about touching the community where they are by going to them through South County Cares events - Care Projects

Honoring Everyone – All people matter and need a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We care for all people.

  • John 3:16 NIV - 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.


Teaching Truth – The Bible is our source for Truth and Standards for our life.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16 NLT – All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 


Expecting the Spirit  - We expect the Spirit’s power, direction & interruptions in our lives. 

  • John 16:13 NIV - But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
  • Acts 1:8 NIV - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

      
Healthy Relationships – Love for one another leads to healthy relationships and is essential to growth.

 

  • John 13:35 NLT - Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”


Doing Our Best – Our real boss is Christ, so we do and give our best for Him.

 

  • Colossians 3:23 NIV - 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters… 
  • Engaging our Community – Our community will know Jesus cares because we have showed them practically through our generosity and heart to serve.
  • Matthew 5:14 NLT – “You are the light of the world – like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 
  • 2 Corinthians 9:11 NLT - 11 Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.
